I may be a minority of 1, but I like them. Neg away.
I get what you're saying but unfortunately NIKE was low balling us with a mediocre renewal offer and right now college football is all about that money. In order to compete you need "money" and if adidas offered more the. I don't blame them for going with the money.
Dude our alumni is the size of a high school gym compare to big state schools. Of course UM has money , but unfortunately that money is only to be used for certain projects ( such as med school etc..)
There are something like 170,000 alumni. Many are ridiculously rich. We have plenty of money, so please stop with this absurd myth.

Who perpetuated this myth?? Billion dollar projects often funded by donors ASAP. Yet we're broke. If we literally put up a campaign for the football program, that mug would fly open ASAP. Don't know y this mythical illusion is still allowed to be used as an excuse?

And I don't blame Nike for low balling us. Before Oregon was their baby, we were. Did you just see what Nike did w/ Michigan?? Broke them off handsomely. Why? B/c they hired a new great football coach. They invested in their football program, and in turn, that investment was handsomely rewarded.
By keeping Golden and his results, Nike low balled us. Fact: If we would've made a splash hire last year, that offer would've went WAY up (and that's insider info). So I'm not mad at Nike low balling us, b/c right now, we've shown that we are currently an inferior product living off past glory (dang that just hurt to say). At the end of the day it's about business from both sides.
However, w/ that being said, there's no way in da world Adidas should've been allowed to give us pop warner uniforms. Take the money; fine....but don't look cheap and pop warner-ish in the process. Have been very disappointed in their design choice for all the unis, thus far.
