Adidas..... smh.

i understand adidas is not popular but they gave us more money than anybody else. Unfortunately we need money from every corner so I completely understand why the school went with Adidas. We don't have deep pockets remember that. My point is I'm not into uniforms that much I'm more into having a real coach that's going to develop talent and play aggressive which is the Miami Hurricanes I know. For me they can play in Russel athletic as long as they are winning games.

I'll guarantee you once we start winning again nobody will talk about the stupid uniforms. But since we have been irrelevant for years now we have to pick on every little thing.

One of the biggest myths in UM history continues to be perpetuated.

Dude our alumni is the size of a high school gym compare to big state schools. Of course UM has money , but unfortunately that money is only to be used for certain projects ( such as med school etc..)

why do they suck because of the feathers on the shoulders??!!!!! They are using our colors get over it dude!!! We have bigger problems as a program than the **** uniforms

Who cares about uniforms. If the football team was winning games nobody would care about the stupid uniforms players don't win games because they wear NIKE or any other brand it's all about effort coaching execution and passion for wanting to be the best. If this team gets in the mix for an ACC title no one will mention the stupid uniforms.

Do people really care that much about the **** shorts or uniforms in general? Just win. Idc if they are wearing 3 piece suits out there.

People care because it's MIAMI.

Hey man, if this were Penn State or KState or Rutgers or even Mississippi St. or Arizona, I'd be right there with you. But the Canes have always looked good winning. The only thing that sold more nike gear than UM was Jordan. People love to rock the U.

This is not a program, school, city, etc. of blue collar keep your head down don't make a scene act like you've been there before all business types. For better or worse (and what could be better than the Canes under the lights in a huge game on tv??), Miami is all about that flash my man.

There are something like 170,000 alumni. Many are ridiculously rich. We have plenty of money, so please stop with this absurd myth.

I get what you're saying but unfortunately NIKE was low balling us with a mediocre renewal offer and right now college football is all about that money. In order to compete you need "money" and if adidas offered more the. I don't blame them for going with the money.

i know there are like a few billionaires that went to UM that live less than a mile from campus, but the money they donate to the school is not for athletics buddy tell me the last time we got a major donation to athletics I'll be waiting

My beef is not with the school for takin the money. It's just the designs are not that great.

Adidas did fine with ND and Kansas and a few other schools for a few years. They looked pretty sharp. Even classic 3 stripe adidas gear could've looked good, but these **** feather stripes just look awful.

I agree with you there I think the school should take a harder stance with the design of the uniforms. I think it all boils down to the root of the problem the school is not interested in football

That's who I wanted Under Armour since I really like their athletics clothing but hey what can we do now the adidas contract runs for 12 years and breaking the contract will cost us an arm and leg

This. If it wasn't going to be Nike, please let it have been UA. They're doing Utah, ND, Auburn, solids. They goof around w Maryland (the hub) b/c that's the alma mater....plus Maryland had goofy unis anyway; but all the other schools have a traditional look.

Adidas is a Euro company....they have no concept of American sports. Hence we look like Euro teams. Smh. Man, I just want my school back in every facet.
