This is so sad for everybody involved. As a truck driver man, you are putting your freedom on the line everytime u step in that vehicle. Even things you didnt intend can have bad consequences, for your freedom and other people's life. Its worse when you are doing reckless stuff like speeding way past the posted limit or messing with distractions. The people who died cant be given life again

Agreed. I think it takes many of us years of driving before we get perspective on this. A car moving at 30 MPH, let alone 90, is a deadly weapon.

It may still happen but the prosecutors are likely not offering a very good deal. Sometimes defendants want to plead but the prosecutor has a really strong case and the facts don’t warrant much of a reduction. And at that point the defendant may as well go to trial.

everyone ALWAYS blames the attorneys, but they are obligated to take their client's instructions.

he should be able to do so. probably received a 20-30 year sentence i believe
