We can't over look his record this year right. That's the standard here.Just like some of you can't.let what butch did at nc go. Chip csme in and got rid of shady,jackson and he ran maclin off. Now he can't score what a jackass. I wonder how he would handle 5 star players here. How would he deal with the south florida additude? Everyone thinks he's a home run hire. Idk Plus his defenses are dodo. People trash butch for his offensive limitations but you let Kelly and Herman off the hook for there lack of defense

There's no saying that Chip Kelly has to wait until the season is over. Other coaches have dipped out early. Still doubt we get him because it's too good to be true. But man would that be a homerun hire. I'd take back every bad thing I said about Blake James.

Besides Olive Garden, what other nfl coach has quit before the season ended? Not gonna happen.

Bobby Petrino comes to mind. I'm not sure if Nick Saban dipped early either. I would have to assume that once Philly's eliminated from playoff contention, he would make the jump. Problem is, they're in the NFC East so it could come down to week 17.

Chip Kelly's interactions with some of his players - now former players - could be a red flag. Dealing with NFL millionaires is different than college players. He does not a seem like a player's coach, and this may be a good thing at Miami.

Go somewhere else if you want to be a diva. Come to Miami if you want to win.

Our fans man....Not saying we're getting Chip Kelly because that's a long shot. But those that knock him as a potential hire are clearly biased. I sure as **** love Butch. But when you compare Butch to Chip, there really isn't a comparison. I guess we're about to have Butch mopes and slurpers soon.

Did you hear any of these problems with Chip while he was at Oregon? Nope. You know why? Because dealing with adults with egos and college players are two totally different situation. Remember how Saban fared at Miami with NFL players then took that same exact coaching style to Alabama and proceeded to run train. Maybe he just isn't cut out for the NFL.

Plenty of great college coaches failed in the pros. Saban for one. Pete Carroll failed in his first stint. Harbaugh for whatever reason couldn't make it last in pros because the owner did like him. Pros is a different animal and isn't for everyone.
