Don's sweat it, amigo. There's a ton of porsters who don't know how to use reading comprehension or context, and those same porsters are going to attack any and all insiders because the name might not be the one they hoped it would be.

Because, you know, joking tweets and posts should be believed far more than great posters with great track records of providing solid info.

And I am not a supporter of his for this job right now, but he's a smart, talented guy who is good at his job and loves UM. I'd love to have him here in some capacity at some point. People should not be ripping him, he has a lot of Cane in his blood, and he's not even campaigning or saying he wants the job. He's not the enemy. And the fat jokes are juvenile. I've seen pics of the occasional board gatherings on here. All the wanna be Fabio keyboard warriors need to chill.

I do not think the issue is him, per se. I think the issue is people want an outside voice, fresh ideas, and there is a candidate out there with an absolute track record of success across all sports, fundraising, facility development, doing more with less, "playing chess" with conference realignment. I don't know what he did or did not do while here or at TT, but I do know that I want the entire AD feeling uncomfortable with a total outside POV at the top and as few previous relationships as possible.
