Overseeing basketball and football huh...let's be real Chris Beard was the reason for Texas Tech basketball success. He was hired before Hernandez took over in 2017. Hocutt gets credit for that. And the football team fired its coach a couple weeks ago. In which they have a overall record of 25-33 since 2017...doesn't inspire alot of confidence

They hire Tony, fire Manny, we don’t get Mario, and Rhett see’s an opening and points out that he and TVD have chemistry and gets the the HC job.

It’s the New Miami way!

Mario has ALWAYS been the guy we were going after, first. It’s gonna be his job to turn down. If he does, then we move on to other coaches.

To those people defending Hernandez I'd ask these questions:

- Are you a Kappa Sigma fraternity brother of his or a dork that knows him through his dork endeavors on the Greek front?

- Are you just cognizant of him because you a had a few classes with him and he was a nice enough fat guy?

- Did you work under him at Hecht and he was nice to you?

- Did you have some interaction with him as a season ticket holder/booster and found him pleasant enough and made you feel appreciated?

I GUARANTEE that almost all of his supporters around here will answer yes to at least one of these questions. There is ZERO other credible justification that you'd want him to get this job if you're actually serious about our program improving.

If this is true we have to pray that Mario will accept the job because, if not, there won't be many viable candidates with all these openings and you already know how this will end.

I don't think anything is official yet but I woke up this morning and Fernandez's name is all over my text messages.

Who knows at this point but it would be the most UM administration thing ever to go from Jurich to Fernandez.

I DON'T WANT ANYONE THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY PART OF THIS INCOMPETENT ADMINISTRATION, WHICH HAS BEEN INCOMPETENT FOR 20+ YEARS.

Why can't we, for once, get something good? HOLY ******* ****.
