AD for Football only

No, there isn't a precedent, because it's stupid. If you hire an AD worth a ****, they don't need an AD for football, because they will want to oversee their profit center directly. Maybe, maybe you'll have an administrator that deals with the day to day stuff with the program, but even then, they are more a stooge for the AD, than someone with actual power.

Why does our dumbass fanbase keep trying to reinvent the wheel? HIRE A COMPETENT AD, GET OUT OF THEIR WAY, PROVIDE RESOURCES NEEDED TO PROVIDE COMPELLING PRODUCT. Not complicated.

We need the next AD (fingers crossed) to actually CARE about football. I have zero issue with giving Butch a shot as the AD. Before any of the mouthbreathers on this site try to say "Butch doesn't have AD experience", well yeah......and what the F on Blake James resume every made him worthy of an interview?
