I was with the get out the conference crowd. But after hearing this bull****. GTFO out this conference. Go the BIG 12. SEC won’t let us in. Ohio state and penn state definitely blocking for the big 10
Completely vanilla stance. This loser.![]()
ACC commish's goalpost: League worth two bids
ACC commissioner Jim Phillips is pushing for No. 12 Miami to earn a bid to the College Football Playoff along with the winner of the league championship game between No. 17 Virginia and Duke.www.espn.com
"I have conviction and confidence in our teams, starting with Miami," Phillips told the AP. "The second piece of that is the Virginia-Duke winner should absolutely be in this College Football Playoff.Completely vanilla stance. This loser.
Going to bat for Duke if they should win on Saturday?? Literally the whole country right now.![]()

THIS. This should have ******* happened. This arbitrary bull**** about opponent win % versus the rankings!A real commissioner would’ve called an emergency meeting and forced through a vote to change the tiebreaker rules in order to replace Duke with Miami. A real Miami AD would’ve made sure he did that.
The B10 did something similar a couple of years ago and I have ZERO doubt that the SEC would've had an emergency meeting and changed the rule on the fly. Only the ACC sets up a self-destructive rule and then drill down on it.A real commissioner would’ve called an emergency meeting and forced through a vote to change the tiebreaker rules in order to replace Duke with Miami. Don’t forget the Jews! UM has a ton of ****** alums too.Protestants for the win.
the big10 did when everyone living through the movie ideocracy, but yes the sec would do it and hide itThe B10 did something similar a couple of years ago and I have ZERO doubt that the SEC would've had an emergency meeting and changed the rule on the fly. Ties to ND more so than anyone else. Can anyone confirm that the "ACC rep" on the 12 person CFP committee also has ties to the SEC? Someone told me this over the weekend, but I haven't seen this discussed anywhere before that.
If so, combined with the corrupt Catholic D$ lit on fire.....this conference is even more 3rd world than I gave it credit for.
Don’t need that. The ACC can put whatever team it wants in the ACCCG, presuming sufficient votes per bylaws. The commissioner’s job was to get those votes and make it happen. If he did that, the ACC would be guaranteed a spot.I wonder if there's anyway for him to "discover" some fine print that states the ACC has the right to designate their representative if something like this happens.
