A young player that is getting better…

Probably alot of Value in that position? /Or is it just value?
Too many variables to say. It depends entirely on the scheme the DC runs, the individual player, and how that player fits that scheme and position.

It's great to read he's making progress. **** have to keep adding weight. Might be a situational guy is my hope .

There diffrent Type of Players Strong side End / The others are Pass rushing Buck type big outside Linebacker .
There is Value in all Three have Value.
Question how do you know Blount is very much ahead of Lowe? Be honest

Fair question. Blount got quite a bit of PT last year and has been - by all accounts - terrific in the spring. He’s over 260 and has an ideal frame - right now - to be a key contributor. Lowe is getting there and he is on a similar trajectory. Maybe “very much ahead” is a bit much but I’ll settle for “ahead”. Both will be rotational guys.

As for lightfoot, what little I’ve seen of practice tape, I’m not seeing it - yet - but we’ll see.

Yes. That was before Baron transferred in. I feel he was overhyped by some. He had Bain level production in high school so the hope was we had found another Bain. Those are rare.

I mean he was getting at good amout of PT last year and was DE4 by the end of the year. Will probably compete for a starting job this year

Do yourself a favor, apply sunscreen before hanging out in this thread. Quite a few sunshine pumpers. Stacked at DE? Well, Bain had a quite impressive freshman campaign and can realistically be projected as above average - All-Conference. Other than that? Mesidor was a revelation 2-3 years ago, but better than average? Hope so, but we'll see. As for the rest, clearly a handful of high-caliber recruits, who all have to prove themselves on Saturdays.

And yeah, there clearly appears to be an attempt to use media outlets to acknowledge guys who might hit the portal - whether desiring to keep them around to develop and fulfill 'potential', or even simply to retain as depth pieces. Probly wise to take a lot of this with a grain of salt. Though the smoke on the Lowes, Poysers and Lucas's of the world seem legit.
