A young player that is getting better…

He was so dominant in his HS post season all star game. Explosive.

When you see him close up he looks a little too much like a basketball player. My concern will always be his ability to keep big strong OL from locking him up and preventing him from using that explosive speed and athleticism.
I agree but I care less and less about the way a guy looks and care more about their production. Too many Tarzan looking, plays like Jane dudes.

Greg Rousseau looked a lot like a basketball player. We also seem to always run into basketball looking tall lankey dudes that give us fits on the edge.

Well he won’t go up against any OL bigger or stronger than our guys so if he’s performing against Cici and Bell he’ll be just fine

Some of these kids are incredibly strong even though they're not big. I Always go back to Ted Hendricks who I don't think was ever over 215 at Miami and 230 in the pros and he was 6'7". Three times an all American and I don't know how many times an all pro

These always seem to coincide with portal talk on cis.

The Great Stork, God bless him. I used to drink beer with him at Mae & Dave’s in Hialeah, on Palm, Ted was a regular there and at all the Miami Springs Bars. One of the greatest.

Starting Rotation: Bain, Mesidor, Bryant (on passing downs)
Emerging: Blount, Lowe, Lightfoot
Developing: Rudolph, Pickett, McConathy, Scroggins

Is this a fair portrayal?

I would think maybe McConathy in the 2nd group being he was getting reps last season? Although admittedly I haven't heard his name much this spring, but I may be wrong.

100%. Some guys just know how to play regardless of what their body looks like.

Get him to 235 to 240 range he'll be a force at that weight so dam fast probably runs sub 4.5 in the 40 with his length, underrated strength and bend around the edge he's a freak show

Between Lowe, Lightfoot, Pickett, Blount, McConathy, Rudolph & Newton, we need at least one of these dudes to make a major leap into game-wrecker territory.

We need much more elite production from the DLine in general & the EDGE rushers in particular.

I've seen enough of Mesidor, he's already hit his ceiling. Solid college player, but not a high impact game changer.
