A True Cane

He needs to keep being a role model for the team and stay ready! the fact of the matter he is our backup QB so he needs to be mentally engaged and motivated in case we need him.

Malik took the FSU monkey off our back and won big time games in an era where we didn't know what winning big time games was.

He will forever have a seat at the legend's table.

With that said, his actions as a backup speak more loudly than his actions as a starter ever could. Wish the kid nothing but the best, but it's KOSI time.

Wish I could find a gif of him taunting the crowd just before this happened......

That throw was SPECTACULAR! McFadden was all over him. There was on spot, about the size of a dime, where that ball could successfully go. Anything under or inside and it was an INT and an L. To make that throw in that situation is f'ing legendary. I'll always respect Malik. Was never his fault we were losing games; yes, it was his play, but he gave it all he had - it's just that WAS all he had. He should have never been a year+ starter for The U. But again, that's not on him. Much love, Malik, wish you all the best.

Always gave him the benefit of the doubt with playing. But he was never going to be better than what he was but he did enough to win some games for us that mattered and he will always be a cane legend for FSU and the ND beat down . His personal character was never in question, solid dude. QB wise im glad we have Perry starting and him as a backup

Malik Rosier may be a future Mark Richt. I wouldn't be surprised to see him QB coaching in a few years...

He's always been a back-up that was basically forced into the starting position last year. As Richt has always stated he'll play the Best Player that gives them the best chance of winning!!! Who were they going to start in 17'? Perry (FR 185 lbs), Weldon (FR), or Shirreffs? We saw what or lack of what Shirreffs did when given a small opportunity.

Rosier deserves a lot of Credit for what's he's accomplished. He clearly doesn't have the same skill set or instincts as Perry, or any of the back-ups.
