He beat FSU. He will always be a legend for that. Can't say the same about his predecessor...
I won't ever speak ill of this kid.
He's leaving the UM with a Masters degree and came in as an unheralded baseball player.
Nothing but W's there.
I don’t think Rosier was ever comfortable being “the guy”. He probably never expected to be.
Some guys don’t have that characteristic but it certainly doesn’t mean they don’t have an important role here.
Seeing that ***** from Clemson act that way really drove this point home
I know he doesn't have any eligibility left after this year but at least he didn't ***** out like Kelly Bryant. He's being a good teammate and knows he's one play from going in.
This is fact. He did stuff no QB had done since Berlin basically. Beat FSU and had 2 amazing comebacks in the last seconds. Straight fire when it matter when the team was learning to win. To take it the next level we needed more talent and Perry is that. But nothing but love for this kid.Malik took the FSU monkey off our back and won big time games in an era where we didn't know what winning big time games was.
He will forever have a seat at the legend's table.
With that said, his actions as a backup speak more loudly than his actions as a starter ever could. Wish the kid nothing but the best, but it's KOSI time.
Huh? He didn't get screwed LOL. I can see why Bryant was mad sure as Clemson brought in a vastly more talented guy but that is the coaches job. Bryant should of at least played out the season . He ***** *** quit on his team. after the season whatever but dont quit on your team.Ummmm..that's not the same. KBryant got phucked. Period. Lawrence wasn't that much better then him. And he wasn't throwing games away either like Malik was for us to warrant losing his starting spot. (I was a Malik apologist all offseason and up until the LSU game. Jumped off the bandwagon after that).. Two totally different circumstances. Bryant should have transferred.
We should consider using Malik in a goal line package. At this point he is better at designed qb runs and the more physical runner.
Pretty much exactly what I was going to say. I don't think Malik Rosier signed with Miami with the expectation of ever being a starting quarterback. Major program, solid education, chance to play baseball, live for free in Miami. That's all pretty alluring. I'm sure he's seen the writing on the wall from the moment they signed Perry. He's a good teammate.
Rosier has horse nuts. And although he didn't have a great arm, I'd still take him over kaaya. Ran the qb draw like a boss, had good vision when running. He won us a lot of games, and us fans need to give the guy credit for what he's done here. This is all I got. I'll never forget that drive.View attachment 65335View attachment 65336
Well said. Thanks for posting that, Tad. Rosier will always be a Canes legend snapping that sickening streak by leading two game-winning drives and taunting the putrid hillbillies in the process. Elephantitic ********s!
And now to hear this just adds to his status. I’m hoping he’ll get a rousing ovation at Senior Day, but I’m guessing our fans are too stupid and low-life to do the right thing.
I still think he’ll have another heroic moment or two in relief this year.
