I’m still in wait and see mode because this whole thing is bigger than the guys that have been committing lately, but the only person I know that takes losing on the trail more than this board is Mario

We will see how it goes. I don’t think winning during the season will move the needle much though this stuff is about relationships

While you have a good point about being biased, there are some tried and true truisms in recruiting and they do not seem to be lining up in our favor. I always felt we were more likely to lose out on all of our top DL targets than we were in getting all of our top DL targets but here we are. Yeah, let’s let Mario do his work, but man, not looking good bc flips at the 5 star level are a tough row to hoe

Guess it's the end of the world, we knew we went 5-7 all offseason but still hyping up this potential recruiting class. We'll we obviously need to up our recruiting budget to off set thar. This staff was brought here to recruit stack talent to give ourselves the best chance to win on Saturdays. No excuses do what you have to do to get it done

We will get some dudes for sure but I’ve been keeping myself out of hanging on each kid because there’s too many moving parts for me

I’m like well as we get close to the season I think we will have a lot of answers and this daily stock up stock down exercise we do here is just too mentally exhausting for me haha

We need to get the Titanic steered back away from the icebergs and I think we will see some signs of where we are at this year but probably still a couple of years away from seeing how this Mario plan is actually working

Beard was a bad hire from the jump. What has beard ever done as a coach? He is zero clout. Our offense sucked last year, Dawson country *** hasn’t done **** for these kids to believe in so this is what you get. Winning solves a lot of issues.

Time to produce on the field or it’s going to get ugly for Mario. 9 wins has to happen some way or another this year

It’s still only July so no need to panic but phucking Nebraska haha this kid won’t end up there or will be in the portal after year 1.

The biggest update is the Justin Scott stuff cause Miami was the “leader” supposedly. All I heard was awesome DL Class Jason Taylor blah blah blah. I want to see results

There's no way around it. Miami is taking a beating right now. The Barney loss was a whiff on a kid we wanted badly in our backyard. I'm not very confident in Justin Scott, either. Miami remains in other premier battles (and is doing great work with Kamarion Franklin, JoJo Trader, Zaquan Patterson, Artavius Jones and others) but there is zero momentum. We need to win badly, and we are going to be playing from behind in recruiting for the next few months because we didn't win last year.

They believe the roster is a hundred times better than last year- that belief needs to turn into wins and momentum on the field. Hopefully, there is some good news off the field coming soon. Until then, everyone is right to be concerned because the results speak for themselves.
