I don't disagree. I think some people get annoyed by that term - I get it. There are certain terms and phrases that I just can't stand.
Whatever the proper term is for a QB is does a decent job working within the offense they're given to run without much, if any, wow plays is how I would describe Mendoza. He doesn't suck. He's actually pretty good, but is nothing close to elite. If you saw the end of the Penn State game - the one Indiana almost lost (to a 6-6 Penn State team) - you know that Mendoza's WRs made a couple spectacular catches on that last drive that bailed him out. The more I think about it, the more I think the Dorsey comparisons are pretty fair. Was Dorsey a game manager? Eh, I guess that depends on your personal definition of what a game manager is.

I also am not hating on him, although I can see why some may think I am. This was an odd year for Heisman candidates. Mendoza was the QB on the undefeated Cinderella team this year. He seems like a genuinely nice person too. I wish him well. I hope he succeeds in the NFL; I just don't think he will.

If Sorsby wants to improve his draft stock, Miami is the easy choice. It's really a no-brainer. Besides his GF going there, what's the appeal to Texas Tech? Don't give me the "they have unlimited oil money" stick. We have proved time and time again we're one of the biggest spenders in college football. Heck, our QB right now is one of the highest-paid players
 
Interesting note from twitter, all the teams listed have had success through the portal, yet Miami is the only team that gets "**** on" for it. It is framed as Miami can't develop or poorly recruits HS and the other coaches get a pass, are QB whisperers

When you get older you understand looks arent everything. Even when I was in college looks werent everything. Was she a freak was my number 1 requirement lol
