A note on Portal QBs

Didn’t Ward arrive here with a number of important deficiencies that generally he overcame ?

Cam was a borderline day 2 Pick when he got here. No one expected him to be a number one overall pick - not the scouts, and certainly not us.

To deny that Dawson coached up Cam to be the No. 1 pick is just to reject reality.

Obviously

I dont know about get bc they have their own decisions to make but pursue. Ah yes most definitely

Dallas was the one we missed I most wanted, personally
Correct, attempt to get. lol. I would take either one or both. But Dallas would probably be #1 on the list.

are we going to get sucked into our third

"have to wait for the NFL draft grades" to get Sorsby?

and then be left standing around as every other team fills up their roster with 4 star transfers!?!

Beck’s game against UL was ugly. Beyond that he has done very well. Only a couple throws beyond that game that he probably wants back. Completion pct is money.

That all said, give me option 1 for next year and bank on the completion percentage going up a couple ticks. Love the td/int ratio too. Bring me that level of big plays/ball protection. And he’s a dual threat.

I am a big fan of Sorsby but this is a risky strategy, depending on how soon he will get his draft grade back. Its the only reason I’m open to someone else at this point. Otherwise this would be the de facto number 1 heading into portal season.

Was not a fan of Dylan raiola but his completion percentage and arm talent is intriguing. Problem is he isn’t mobile

Already posted over on the transfer portal board but figured more people still stick to this one. The baby Mahomes **** is weird but we could do a lot worse imo

Raiola was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Tony and Wendy Raiola. He has a younger sister, Nicole, and a younger brother, Donovan, who played center for the Washington Redskins in 2011. His father, a native of Hawaii, was a defensive lineman for the University of Miami in the mid-1970s, but saw his career cut short due to a shoulder injury in 1977.
