I can see that. Yet even with moving Brantley outside he will come off the bench not start and I'm fine with that. I really like Brantley but not as a starter. He's best used situationally both inside and outside.

Assuming Damari Brown moves to Safety then my 2 deep at CB is...

Actually I would be much more comfortable with being able to get AJ Haulcy at Safety and another CB/S for depth and not have to move Brown or Brantley.

Brantley is worse outside than inside. Now what does this tell you about Spring talk with Brantley, Markeith and Day? The truth has been hinted at if not said on all this. What was Caneville bashed for a week ago? Day is still young and has the potential. If Day is forced to play a lot, they better develop him during the season, the same with a young Nickel or our young WR's. This isn't a position a playoff team wants to be in. This. I get it - you want to shoot your shot at Ryan Williams, etc but cmon, it’s a fool‘s errand if you don’t think their teams will back up the brinks to retain them. Same goes for the auburn kid that was signed via the portal and others we were after. We lost out on big timers, chased them for a while and now are relegated to dumpster diving.
