A&M/Miami Midnight Yell

I try not to call out other fan bases too much because frankly, ours sucks. I've heard our fans yell plenty of racist crap at visiting fans, just depends how you look at at as to whether or not you choose to get offended. When App State was here, I heard plenty of our fans calling theirs "rednecks, hillbillies, cousin-f**ckers, sister-f**ckers" and plenty of other lovely things. On the whole most fan bases are more polite than ours, with a few exceptions (Gators, West Virginia). The truth is, Miami fans are racist as ****.

Mixing rowdy football fans with alcohol will pretty much always lead to some sort of scrappiness and brings out people’s worst side. Our fanbase like any other will not always be the nicest it’s part of the game environment.

The Miami fan base is probably the most diverse in all of college football. We've got every letter, ethnicity and racial group covered. Could there be some racists in our group? It's possible, but I'm sure it's a very small number when you compare it to some of other fan bases. As far as "racist as ****"? Definitely smells like that's coming from a troll.
 
The racist stuff happens everywhere. It’s not unique to one school or conference.

The part to me that is just so cringe is these kids get stuck in these weird *** small towns where I get it the stadium is awesome and the locker room is awesome but this is the best they can do on a Friday night lol a hoedown with cringe taunts

Gainesville is another bad spot. Has gotten a lil' better over the years but back in the day opposing fans on Archer Street was only for a select few.

I haven't had any serious issues with any of the ACC fans, except for Clemson. Had to slap a dude in Charlotte during the ACC title game cuz he was getting out of hand with his subtle jabs carrying racial undertones. Think for the most part the rest of the fan bases in ACC are mostly cordial. Some knuckleheads but we've all got'em.

Not sure if it's because I couldn't understand them half the time but thought LSU fans were nice while we were out in Dallas.

There are butt-holes in all fan bases, but one thing that should never be tolerated are disparaging ethnic/racial remarks. That should be a no-no in everyone's book.

Virginia Tech can have some bad ones. The engineers are fine, it’s the non-VT student/grad angry Jethro Clampetts from the hills.

Elephant in the room. Go to any of the SEC threads. It's embarrassing. We aren't any better.. most likely worse.
 
I live in Austin and have a number of really good friends that went to A&M. As a whole, they are one of the nicer fanbases out there.

Yell Practice, like most of their traditions, is historically pretty tame and borders on hokey/cheesy. Unfortunately, they flew a bit too close to the sun with the App State stuff and are now getting exposed for it.

I’d imagine they’ll dial the content down a bit this week
