Valentine is a MONSTER and if we keep him, he is going to be rocking it next year. Our OL class is the envy of the nation. Chad Thomas is going to be a beast here. Joe Yearby is an elite RB, and if Duke is healthy, and Gus gets another year of Utough and working on getting better, Duke, Yearby, and Gus will be a very strong running stable. IF we can get Griffin qualified, that will be a major boost.

Yes it would be nice to add a little more icing on the cake, but lets NOT for one moment overlook what a GREAT class this is. The biggest concern right now should be holding what we got, and making sure they qualify.

a pipe dream to get an elite running back who grew up a cane fan, who's coach is a cane, who has two teammates committed here who lives half an hour away who has a brother here and who's mom apparently wants him here...if that's a pipe dream, well then what the **** is reality

Good point and Sonny also grew up a cane fan.If not for Coley we would be missing on all 3 local studs as Yearby grew up a nole,what a complete disaster that would have been for Golden.

South Florida is more loaded than usual this year and we have 30 spots open. That's the only reason we're ranked high. Randy Shannon could have had just as high rated a class if he were still here this year, that's how loaded it is this year.

Who are the top kids in South Florida this year?

3. Dalvin Cook - MISS

Dixon didn't commit. Maybe he surpirses everyone and comes to Miami, but it's not looking that way is it?

Doesn't matter if we offered Treon at QB, he's still a top 5 kid and him not coming here but going to FSU is a miss.

Those other kids you mentioned are not the top 10 kids in South Florida. I'm going by rivals and not Miami fanboy bent logic.

We may quickly devalue a kid when he's spurned us, but we never seriously recruited Treon. He's insisted on playing QB, and that was a wrap for us.

Yeah, go have a look at the sticky on this very board that was made by the staff of this website. The one that ranked all the south florida kids. It looks kind of like this list.

You guys are doing the fan thing and inflating our commits and deflating the kids we're losing. **** yall were doing it to Demetrius Jackson last night, and that kid is a straight stud. Yall were saying we cut his scholly, etc etc.

Now he's back and he's the best ever.

I'd take Brad Kaaya over him. Only one QB plays. Rosier is also a guy who jumped up on your Rivals rankings. Had a great senior year. You just stated your love for them. I like Rosier's arm and his size. I like that Coley wants him too. Means more to me than people who want Harris because he is local and is at a pipeline school.

247 top ten prospects in south Florida

1. Cook - Gator
2. Lane - Gator
3. Kc - Cane
4. Valentine - Cane
5. Sony - UGA
6. Rudolph
7. Darling - Cane
8. Yearby - Cane
9. Thomas - Cane
10. Dixon

Then, if you look at Florida's top 100 prospects, we have 7 more prospects from South Florida alone committed to us. 12 south Florida kids in the top 100 is pretty good to me. Then add other Florida kids like Owens, Harris, Gibbons, etc. Then mix it in with OOS kids like Young, Jenkins, Berrios, etc.

Also I forgot Rudolph was committed as well since we already missed on him.

While its not looking good for Rudolph or Dixon at the moment, it wasnt looking good for coley or Howard at the time either. Reserve judgement till the LOI's are in. Dixon is a 50/50 shot between us and OSU. I bet Dixon will flip flop between the two schools a couple times before he makes his final decision this weekend.

It's not like FSU doesn't have another top rated QB committed, there other guy is a similar prospect to Kaaya.

You take a local talent like Treon over Rosier every day. Give him his shot at QB and see what happens. Just keep Booker T kids away from FSU.

The same "staff" that is clearly biased about certain guys. If you really treat the Canesinsight staff's prospect evaluations as gospel you are delusional as the people you're attacking. How many on this "staff" were blowing Ermon Lane before the season started? Any dope coming here for prospect evaluations deserves all the ridicule that a message board can provide.
