A couple of thoughts

You’re missing my point. Our offense requires way too much to be executed for it to be successful against what was essentially a G5 team. Nothing is designed to be easy.

Look at what we need to do to score inside the 10 then go and watch some of the other games from around the country. OCs are pulling stuff out that has guys walking in. We need to play bully ball against Stanford and need Fletcher to run people over to score. That’s not a long term recipe for success.

I fundametally disagree with your last paragraph and most of your point. University of Michigan won a title recently playing bully ball. Alabama would routinely wear down opponents playing bully ball. There are plenty more examples. In addition, last week I watched Malachi "walk in" for a TD on a jet sweep. I'll gladly admit that our offense could use a little more imagination, especially when it comes to running off tackle or wider, but to say bully ball is not a long term recipe for success is just plain not true.

Yesterday was probably Marion’s worse game as a cane, up until that point he didn’t do anything to justify not playing him. I think the uptick in snaps for guys like Moore was in response to the social media stuff, gotta keep guys happy.
He drops 1-2 balls every game.

Huh? If speaking facts is demented call me Ed Gein brah. Skip to the 6:25 mark of this video where Dawson clearly states who gave him the play. I watch and remember all things cane football buddy

Post wasn’t directed at you directly. More this bipolar *** board.

They play two halves. Both count. Cumulatively.

You wrote a nice word salad. Have you considered sending your run schemes to Coach Dawson?

Don’t wanna see Marion on my field ever again
This is what myself and others argued all year. These were snaps that seemed to be perfect for trader but hes obviously in the doghouse for effort issues or injury. Who knows. Atleast he got to run around for a few plays last night

It’s not when it’s 50% of your offensive game plan. To show how predictable and archaic our offense is , when Baumann lines up in the slot and motions in what play are we running? And have you ever seen a variation off it? I’m not talking about running in the B gap vs A gap. I’m talking about a screen off it, an RPO slant, etc. And yes Malachi walking in on that jet sweep kind of proves my point right?

Hang on a second.

All week I was told the run game was 100% Mirabal and Dawson just calls what he’s told to call.

Now you’re telling me that not only is the run game Dawson’s, but actually it’s Mirabal coming up with creative short yardage plays???

LMAOOOOOOOOO this place is demented.
There is only one way to find out - at the end of the season 😂😂

Agreed on the long blitzing.

It started in the FSU game and gave Castellanos a ton of easy throws. I genuinely don’t get it. Moss ****ed on it as well.

Been watching DCs do it here for 20 years and don’t think it’s ever worked one time.

I love what the defense has been doing in general so I find it more perplexing.

Just bring the 4 DL and drop everyone else. Lashlee will use the TE to fill those spots like Brohm did 2 years ago.

You're talking in circles. You complained about (presumably) other teams' OCs (and not ours, again presumably) calling plays that allow their teams to score easily. I gave the Malachi example to show that we can do it too, then you spun it as proof of your point.....and your point was we DON'T do that.

Have a great Victory Sunday.

Yeah I don’t mind blitzing in general. Toure is pretty good at it. Thomas and Scott are good at it. Just keep it close to the LOS.

People freaking out about mobile QBs it’s actually the accurate ones that worry me more. There’s throws to be made against us but we cause a lot of chaos and it takes an accurate QB to make the throws. Lagway and Castellanos both missed quite a few open guys. Last night they had some drops.

Not *****ing about the defense of Heatherman of course. It’s been a **** good season from them. Just don’t like giving the opposing QB easy looks it feels so out of place.

Then again I’m just a message board dummy I’m sure if he explained it it would make more sense.

It’s Stanford, they suck snd half of their starters were out and a 1 leg qb.

Why do ppl refuse to call out/realize the red flags? Some of yall would rather call out the ppl who do notice it and voice their concerns.
Because my life is awesome. We won 42-7 and some of you beta bi.tc.hes (yup I'm looking at you) would rather focus on how horrible we are at 6-1 after a 42-7 blowout win. I got laid after the game and it only cost me about 4 minutes of sleep cuz IDGAF about being Peter North or Johnny Sins. My short game was amazing. I was efficient. It wasn't a blow out, but I did blow.

I have discussed the first half. It stunk. Run game was unimaginative (again). We made some dumb mistakes. We missed a FG and didn't convert a (couple?) 4th downs. Had we made the FG and converted and gone on to score a TD, we would've been up 17-7 at the half.....and you still would've complained. You are part of The Faction. Enjoy being unhappy. I might get laid again.

We blitz’d more to get Bain more one on ones since Mesidor was injured and not playing.

Ppl on this site say “we never adjust” then when we do adjust they complain.

Stanford TE dropped a few and the passes for off target as a result of the PRESSURE that was being brought.

______
Offense didn’t look great but I did see us mix in more RPOs on early downs which will help to slow down the Safeties and LB who’ve been crashing down super aggressively on our run game.

Yes more creativity is desired but if Beck and can consistently hit on the RPOs without turning it over we will see a much more consistent outcome in both the run and pass game.
