Im hoping we get UF, UGA, or UT in a bowl game. Something the team can get fired up for.

Chances are those bowls would be in Orlando, Jacksonville, Charlotte, or Nashville instead of El Paso or Shreveport

I highly doubt it, those games on the road will be too tough for them. I bet 2k to win 7 games early before the season I've already written it off, there is no such thing as a sure bet, lol. I'd say 6-6 at the very best could lose all 4.This team hasn't learned how to win yet.

I'm with you on the 2.1K to win 7. I never wrote us off completely and felt better after Richt started max protect with RBs & TEs. How you feelin now?
 
I'll say it like I said in the WEZ. We go 8-4 and win our bowl game I will accept this season for what it is.

hard to swallow that October nose dive and FSU game tho

I think they lose next week and beat Duke, we're still in it. When I said I wrote it off I just meant I wasn't expecting to win. That was before the Pit game which I thought we would lose. It's not looking too bad right now, crossing fingers, lol. I got mine at -6.5 did you get the same? The only place I saw it that low was S Point.
 
9 wins would definitely make me feel better about the season. That was the max for our last two coaches so it'd be nice if Richt hits that in year one

9 wins and a bowl game? **** right I'll take it. Add to that 3 of our losses were by 7 or less. We were in all those games. Much different from the last two. The key is improving on it. Each year. No excuses.

9-4 with five straight wins to close the season would make next year feel like 2000, where most of the country still doesn't believe in Miami (except Herbstriet) but we know that we have the potential to win a bunch of games and make the playoffs.

I've been hesitant to deem this season 1999, but you're absolutely right. It's going to feel exactly the same if we win out.

Well I was ****ed during the 4 game losing streak, now I'm baffled. But at least you can say the team has made some improvements. Our front 7 should be a beast next year. It will all come down to how Kaaya and the OL improve....assuming he comes back. He needs to.
