He will be a Cane

Hope so there was also an a snippet of that Jake Heaps article where his mentor mentions Jacob Eason one of the top rated QBs in 2016, doubt Eason comes but you never know.

> What the Hurricanes could end up getting in Heaps in the long run is a 2-for-1 quarterback special. According to Barton, UM recently offered 2016 top-rated quarterback Jacob Eason of Lake Stevens, Wash. and camper at the Barton Football Academy.

"It very easily could be a situation with them signing Jake he could very well easily step in and be the starter and then with Jacob Eason he could end up stepping in at Miami and being the starter in two years," Barton said. "He’s a kid who is going to graduate early and end up somewhere in spring ball. He has a chance to be the best to ever come out of this region. He is going to be a guy that plays in the NFL for 12 to 15 years. He’s the real deal."

From a pure throwing perspective, his highlights are some of the best I've seen. Very, very talented.

He looked good out there today. Was working with Carroll before the lightning alarm went off

You know, with that height, and the way he so effortlessly drops in a long pass with such ease, touch, and great accuracy he does remind me of another Vinny T.

I'm interested in your assessment.

On Arm Talent...He's better than Kaaya

I wouldn't disagree with that. In his sophomore film I said that every ball he throws looks like is connected to a string, the ball never wobbles just a perfect spiral and perfect fall. I have a feeling though that he still struggles with making reads cause some of his throws on his highlights should never be made at the next level. But still, he is very impressive for his age.

This is why Kaaya is so full of potential. His arm talent is far above average, but he can see the field at a very early age. Next year, it will be nothing for Kaaya to get to his 3rd read on a progression. That's when you'll start hearing the franchise QB buzz from NFL scouts.
