And we’d be dropped to 10th after ND, Texas and Clemson beat Abilene St and Austin peay.
**** these pollsters! Utter joke!
we take care of business we arent on the bubble. we wouldnt have been on the bubble last year had we took care of business at the end of the season last year.Margin for error shrinks if you're on the bubble. That's why it helps to be ranked as high as possible.

This is almost exactly what I expected.
Texas lost a very close game at the Shoe, to the #3 team. You can argue that Texas was the better team that day, the game was similar in comparable talent to ours vs ND. How far do you drop them because of that game? One spot behind us is the only thing that makes sense, IMO, but I have no issue with them being one ahead of us.
LSU went on the road and won a close game as well, against a top 5 team. Again, that game could have gone either way, but in this case the road team won. Would I have them at 4? No, but I would have them ahead of us.
Oregon and UGA are the two that you could *maybe* say should’ve held serve or dropped, purely because they got rewarded for playing inflated bags of farts in helmets. Oregon could’ve stayed at 7, and Miami/Texas slot in ahead of them. That’s the one qualm I have.
So the message this sends is good losses outweigh good wins
What a tragic bunch of hypocritical *****
Not surprised… #1 losing by 7 pts to #3 on the road. Being around #5-#6 sounds about right. The issue is Texas shouldn’t have been ranked that high in the first place.
It's certainly not a given but it's possible 5 of our first 8 games are against ranked opponents.
ND, UF, and FSU.
UF losing to LSU would probably bump them down a bit but they'll likely still be a top 20 team if they win their others.
FSU has a bunch of easy matchups. If they win out then they'll be a top 20 team for sure.
Oct 17 against Louisville - Louisville has JMU, Bowling Green, Pitt, and UVA before they come to Hard Rock. I'd bet they end up in the top 20.
Nov 1 against SMU - SMU has Baylor, Missouri State, TCU, Syracuse, Stanford, Clemson, Wake Forest before we head to Dallas. Even if they lose against Clemson, they'll still be ranked if they can win the rest.
I'm good with #7 for the moment. As long as we take care of business, we will be in the CFP and in Charlotte beating the brakes off of some hapless ACC team.
Irie mon!And someday we'll get that courtesy reacharound...
If you're from the right conference. So the message this sends is good losses outweigh good wins

let me breaks balls lol.9 vs 4 compared to 10 vs 6. LSU won at Clemson. i think that makes sense tbh.
