This is NOT the same Miami team as last year - especially on offense. Gotta stop comparing the 2. One of the statements being made by almost all the O players in their pressers is that they have the mindset to move onto the next play no matter the outcome of the previous. They don't have time to dwell on it. I think this says a lot about where and how this team has grown and moved on from last year.

I have no delusions of grandeur about our game with Clem$on. I do believe we can give them a run for their money - pun intended.

This. Don't think we'll win, but I'm looking for us to give them a game.

That'd be a huge stride for our programme.

Hopefully the odds makers appoint Clemson as 14 point favorites and Manny can show this Video to the boys over and over, every day until game day.

I always expect a win (unless proven otherwise) but I will be sufficed with keeping the game close and not getting blown out on prime time if we do lose.

It needs to be stated that we most likely sucked after bye weeks because we didn’t get up for those games enough.

That won’t be an issue here. We’re going to come out ready to play. The question is, when Clemson eventually punches us back in the mouth, will we respond in kind?

We’re going to continue to play that “bend, don’t break” style of defense. It’s going to come down to whether or not we can hold them to field goals and force turnovers.

We also could not pick up a 3rd and 1 last year. What's your point? I actually think the bye week helps Lashlee and the offense prepare and install things specifically for this game.
