You’re still losing another top blue chip WR from Miami, with family ties to Miami, and from a high school Miami needs to build a pipeline to. It’s more of a bigger picture rather than the loss of Calvin. That being said, I agree with how Miami handled its strategy with him at the end.
I understand that. Yet, his FAMILY doesn't seem to care..... There's not much you can do there

Oh, I agree! But i believe it’s important we don’t ignore why we are missing on key kids.

Earlier in the year, I made a vague post about how Miami fumbled with Calvin, in the CR thread. Miami had to play catch up since. We need to do a better job in not putting ourselves in that position in the future.

To your point, it became evident, that camp was impossible to please and unrealistic demands. I’m okay with moving on, at this point. Still, we need to do better.

Ok, solid points. Why did we have to play catch up and what needs to be done better?

Nobody is getting on board with mediocrity. Don’t gaf what the class is ranked it’s lacking at a few positions and there is no problem with pointing that out. Idc about wr I believe we will always be able to find good wrs. DT recruiting is a major problem. LB recruiting is a big problem. Safety recruiting is becoming a big problem

Wide receiver

I'm eager to see how he performs under Teddy. Given how many schools he looked at only to circle back to Fran and Cuse, it may be a blessing we didn't get him the first go-around. Fran could have a great year and leave, or have a terrible year and lose his luster. Who knows how this recruitment ends up?

And if he does go to Cuse and perform really well, we may get another crack at the bat later. Or he may play like Hykeem Williams and we'll feel like we dodged a bullet.

Yes, lemonade out of lemons talk. Just let it all play out. There are lot of moves in chess.
