Signing 12:10 p.m. ET on the Pat McAfee Show
In today's era, there's little risk to this move for him. If the WR room falls apart, he can transfer easily.Day made him reconsider. That last phone call reminded him despite Hartline, his offense puts WRs in the 1st Rd.
UO almost pulled him, but Day did what needed to be done. Also helps he’ll immediately b WR2 & WR1 by Sophomore yr.
We had no shot. Lol
1. OSU
2. UO
3. SC
In that order
Elite OL and DL helping us win 20/24 regular season games in two seasons. It's remarkable how recruiting has inverted from the glory days--OSU is now a destination for elite WRs, UM for big, beefy linemen. I don't love the trend.
OSU has always recruited and developed top end NFL WRs....you really think OSU doesn't still have beefy lineman? I can't think of any championship team that didn't have a good physical OL.....It's remarkable how recruiting has inverted from the glory days--OSU is now a destination for elite WRs, UM for big, beefy linemen. Who did they play outside Indiana that would concern you? That certainly is an opinion.
I think Miami has a good enough team to play anyone on their schedule. My concern stems from our inability to consistently win games we should win. I don't understand the logic behind Miami would be 12-0 _______. We played a dog**** schedule this year outside of ND and still managed to lose 2 games. Did SMU and Louisville scare you from a personnel standpoint?Who did they play outside Indiana that would concern you?
OSU was historically three yards and a cloud of dust. We were pro-style (QBU) with Playmaker, Lamar Thomas, Santana Moss, Andre Johnson, etc. OSU is home of hefty, corn-fed, big, slow and lumbering linemen. Elite speed and talent resides in So Florida. We need more ELITE (not good or even very good) talent at the skill positions—two to three MTs on the field together. Wingo helps a ton, maybe others.OSU has always recruited and developed top end NFL WRs....you really think OSU doesn't still have beefy lineman? I watched.Qb throwing 4 picks easily explains 1 of the games.
Brohm being a QB and a good coach I’m sure had nothing to do with their defense forcing our QB to make mistakes that were on his filmI watched.
I admit, I struggle with mental gymnastics.Brohm being a QB and a good coach I’m sure had nothing to do with their defense forcing our QB to make mistakes that were on his film

Good point. I thought UO would drop 2 out of their last four after I watched them against PSU & IU. They obviously didn't. Iowa/USC/UW all finished 15-19 in SP+, a notch above UL & SMU. They had a better regular season than we did.I think Miami has a good enough team to play anyone on their schedule. My concern stems from our inability to consistently win games we should win. Hate OSU but they stopped doing 3 yards and a cloud of dust in the mid 90s - Joey Galloway, Terry Glenn, Ted Ginn, I’m sure I’m missing more.
Ughh what a Crazy list but Just to piggy back Anthony Gonzalez was another one. It’s a slew of them mutha fckas. I had a civilized back & forth debate w a Buckeye alum, student-athlete, & fan, ONLY b/c he’s my Prophyte in my fraternity. Lmao.
He kindly reminded me of all the WRs they’ve sent to the NFL over the yrs as high draft picks, although he was civilized enough to admit not all lived up to the hype at the next level.
