In today's era, there's little risk to this move for him. If the WR room falls apart, he can transfer easily.

OSU has always recruited and developed top end NFL WRs....you really think OSU doesn't still have beefy lineman? I can't think of any championship team that didn't have a good physical OL.....

I think Miami has a good enough team to play anyone on their schedule. My concern stems from our inability to consistently win games we should win. I don't understand the logic behind Miami would be 12-0 _______. We played a dog**** schedule this year outside of ND and still managed to lose 2 games. Did SMU and Louisville scare you from a personnel standpoint?

OSU was historically three yards and a cloud of dust. We were pro-style (QBU) with Playmaker, Lamar Thomas, Santana Moss, Andre Johnson, etc. OSU is home of hefty, corn-fed, big, slow and lumbering linemen. Elite speed and talent resides in So Florida. We need more ELITE (not good or even very good) talent at the skill positions—two to three MTs on the field together. Wingo helps a ton, maybe others.

Hate OSU but they stopped doing 3 yards and a cloud of dust in the mid 90s - Joey Galloway, Terry Glenn, Ted Ginn, I’m sure I’m missing more.

Good point. I thought UO would drop 2 out of their last four after I watched them against PSU & IU. They obviously didn't. Iowa/USC/UW all finished 15-19 in SP+, a notch above UL & SMU. They had a better regular season than we did.

Perhaps the only the viable argument to support the notion that we'd also be 11-1 (12-0 is ridiculous) against their schedule is that those 3 wins were during the last third of the season, when we played our best football. I wouldn't feel confident if that was my best case to St. Peter at the pearly gates to get into heaven though.
