He doesn't have a critical opinion. That would actually involve criticism, which would entail logic and analysis and suggestions for improvement. The program, the administration, the coaches, and the players do both good things and bad things. Instead, he has an unrelenting negative view of everything. Nothing is ever good, or good enough.
And that doesn't get underneath peoples' collective skin as much as it becomes boring and predictable and mockable. I turned one of his negative phrases back on him, to reflect to him what he says on an ongoing basis, and it caused him to lose his temper.
So be it.
If you think we should not respond to someone who has typed 27,000 posts worth of UM hate and negativity in the interest of "anyone can say whatever they want", I guess that is one approach. I choose to occasionally rebut and mock his "critical opinion", that is all. Unlike him, I have never challenged or threatened or implied a violent in-person response against him. I just think his level of internal turmoil is sad and I'm curious as to what he will post when we win our 6th championship.
