This would be a big flip, I guess its whoever we flip first him or MJC
I watched him play vs Columbus in highschool and it was the craziest display I had ever seen. Had over 300 yds and broke every ancle on that defense.Said it on here forever. That true freshman season, when he averaged 9.1 a clip, still to this day, I have *never* seen a back, in person, who was quicker into and through a hole as Frank was that first year. He was a literal hiccup. The acceleration was insane for a human that size, he was into the 2nd level before the OL was really fully engaged with their defenders.
I specifically remember sitting in the OB with my old man that year, and obviously back then we got 0.1% of the recruiting coverage we get now, so I had heard his name, but had never seen a highlight film, had no clue what he looked like, etc. He was just a name on the back page of the sports section in February on NSD, and then some word of mouth in the community. But I never saw him play in HS. So our first glimpse of him, in person, was that first home game against Rutgers. I'm pretty sure he came in late in the 3rd or maybe 4th quarter, and the first time he got through a hole, my dad and I instantly snapped our heads to look at each other and had this look on our faces like, "WTF was that?!". He just exploded out of a cannon. Again, I've never seen anything like it, even to this day. He was at full-speed before he got the handoff, it was incredible.
I'm with you, if he doesn't blow out that knee in 2022, and then again, we legit might be talking about him as a Top 5 back of all time in the league. The talent was breathtaking.
My favorite RB of all time. GliderI'm surprised nobody has mentioned Erick ****erson. His first 2 years in the NFL no RB ever came close to.Almost 4,000 yds.
DShep Darrell Sheppard, Frank made him the "easy out" in our district, he was NASTYYY also, think he in Columbus hall of fame.. There was no social media or 305sportss back then but Frank was the Mali in that neighborhood.. THAT era of down south talent and that district, mannnnnnn..I watched him play vs Columbus in highschool and it was the craziest display I had ever seen. Columbus actually has a stud RB too that went crazy that game. think he went to Pitt and got kicked out his freshman year. Can’t remember his name

Now, THAT was a running back!!
Ain't trying to take nothing away from the West,cc,central, norland, Killian, etc. But it was the Ridge that held **** down for the crib. Sarge had them boys hittin! Fun fact, a few of my boys were doing some different stuff in LA during that time. It's well known juice was deep into the Italian world and nicole had a SERIOUS problem with the girl... I'll just leave it at that's a VERY interesting story.Well… at least they all know now who Brooklyn is.
Only slightly slanted though Steve. I'm in japan right now. Love it out here. Best part is I'm sortve left alone. Some of my fondest childhood memories were spent at Wrigley Field watching 'the Kansas Comet' ply his trade. I can admit, watching 'Brian's Song' still brings a tear to my slanted eyes...
