2027 5* RB Kemon Spell

Speaking of the Davis brothers, how did all of them end up in Iowa? I went to school with one of them, not Troy or Darren, the other one. But Troy and Darren were good - and ISU wasn’t all that before them.
You went to school with Jason. That all happened because Sarge had a friend on staff at ISU & Troy never had the grades for us(where he wanted to go) or fspoo that was his backup with lamont. No one was offering darren so Sarge boy talked them both into going and playing together.

Actually, it was Eddie - he was just down a couple doors from me. I think he might have been the oldest.

Had to have a rule when playing with friends

No LA Raiders (Jackson + Howie Long)
No Chicago Bears (Payton + Singletary)
No NY Giants (LT broke the game on D)
We used to go back and forth up and down the field 3 or 4 times dogging everyone before scoring

He drew interest from programs across the country, including the Nittany Lions, Oregon, Georgia and Notre Dame. The Bulldogs, who have a history of elite running back play, ultimately won out. But according to Spell, he had even higher offers than what UGA plans to pay him in 2027.

“I could’ve gotten more money from other places, but I picked Georgia for the reasons that I want to get to the NFL and I’ll be coached by the best guy [Kirby Smart] each and every day,” Spell told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “He’s going to be on me and coach me hard. I didn’t pick Georgia for the money. I picked it for the development piece and getting to the [NFL].”

So what is he getting to be a Bulldog? $1 million as a freshman, he told the paper. Spell’s market-based NIL valuation from On3 is $750K, and sources previously told On3’s Pete Nakos the deal was between $750-850K.

According to Nakos, the Nittany Lions “made clear they were willing to pay up, with a contract nearing $1 million. But the chance to play in the SEC coupled with a top-of-the-market package was difficult to turn down.”

Kirby been ******* up some RB's the last 5-6 years. Those "highly rated" blue-chippers have been hotdog water. Dalvin Cook doing a lot of the leg work here.

But 1,000%.

- Zamir White was a complete dud.
- Kyron Jones got moved to Safety
- Nate Frazier has been absolutely underwhelming. Most of his yards are useless
- Dwight Phillips Jr has had his elite speed neutralized
- Chauncey Bowens, has been okay

They had a run during the Richt era where they were churning out top tier caliber backs, but for a team that's completely centered around running the ball Offensively, their RB's haven't matched their investment in the position.

Kirby is still living off the michel Chubb swift days. And he didn’t even recruit the first 2. Then had James cook but really they’ve definitely underwhelmed. Maybe part of that is Stacy searles being garbage and their scheme.

I don't for one second buy this nonsense kids are taking way less money to play at certain prestigious schools. The offer might be slightly less but let's not get ourselves here.

It’s the cool thing to say. Makes the fans of the school feel good that there’s something “special” about school X because so and so took way less $ to be here.
