#5 in AP POLL

Here’s a question…

from a neutral observers perspective, which is a more impressive win:

FSU over Bama
Miami over ND

I’m not glazing FSU, just curious what you all think the casual fan would say is the better win.
Two different answers.

Most impressive was Miami-ND due to it being a battle of competitive heavyweights. Could argue ND was 2nd best team after last season. Physical game and Miami proved more dominant.

Most surprising was FSU-Bama due to the shock value. Fair assumption was FSU would put up an early fight in the opener before Bama rolled. Instead, FSU played with a ton more juice & Bama, out of synch, no physicality & debuted maybe their worse QB in more than a dozen years. Game into season & HC is on the hot seat.

I don't think UF beats LSU, but if they did they'd be top 8 probably when we face them. More likely they fall to like 16 when they lose....

As to which win was more impressive, ask yourself this:
If it were FSU hosting ND and us hosting the Tide, what would the result have been?

Easy answer: the Irish beat the Noles like a rented mule. We'd beat the Tide at our house, knowing what we know about them now.

The two victories were NOT the same.

UF will beat USF this week. USF will not be ranked anytime soon. LSU is going to whoop UF before we play them. To me, LSU easily looked like the best team in week 1. Those portal additions were hits. Their D looks nasty. FSU will probably be undefeated when we play them.
Tough to gauge LSU beating what I'd argue is an overrated Clemson team. Clemson has not played well or done well against quality teams the last one or two (maybe longer?).

LSU may very well be legit, but not sure I'm ready to say that after that Clemson game
