#5 in AP POLL

Definitely playing out that we're going to have 3 top 15 matchups through 5 games. Probably 4 in the top 25 through 6.

Depends what UF does vs LSU on how high they will be. FSU probably 95% chance to be undefeated on 10/4 and Louisville very likely to be undefeated on 10/17 - probably top 15-20 by then. Add in SMU at 17 now and most likely 7-1 or 6-2 when we play on 11/1 and ranked.

Big part of why complaining about strength of schedule is so stupid. Teams play who is on their schedule. Not our fault UF sucked a year ago.. we scheduled them in advance. Very similar to the schedule we had 1 year ago and we're going to have 5-6 ranked opponents vs 1 last year. 1 ranked but 4 in the top 32 when you look at teams receiving votes. We beat all 3 receiving votes who would have been ranked if we didn't beat them... (Louisville, UF, Duke)

Agreed with the above. LSU is going to mollywhop the Gator. ESPN probably assumes this and assumes that they will come down here and get the Belt to A$$ by us here at the Rock, too.

I'm counting on that.

Gameday will be at the Doak. Both FSU and Miami will be undefeated going into that game, assuming both teams stay healthy and the Noles move into the Top 10. This will be a Howard vs. Bobby Showdown Game. ESPN and ABC won't be able to resist that narrative. It will be like Old Times.

7:30 Prime Time Kick. National Broadcast, probably ABC. By that time, FSU should be ranked 8th, we will probably be at 5 or up to 4.
I hope UF is a night game. Im going to a 1pm wedding and would hopefully be able to attend it

Here’s a question…

from a neutral observers perspective, which is a more impressive win:

FSU over Bama
Miami over ND

I’m not glazing FSU, just curious what you all think the casual fan would say is the better win.

Im shocked Alabama fell so far they almost are unranked
But that is also why the preseason stuff is a joke... Bama didnt do **** to show they should be top 10, only to get trounced, **** near drop out of top 25, but FSU who barely had any votes and was likely fringe top 50 team "beats" a top 10 team and skyrockets to top 15. So either Bama is really good and the FSU win is that impressive or no one knows a **** thing just yet

Miami win. By far. Both teams played fairly well, not a lot of mistakes or terrible performances.

Alabama was terrible. Ty Simpson is not good.

Deserved or not, I hate it.

The only reason to like it, is if we keep winning, the high ranking may help with playoff positioning at the end of the season. Long way to go though, and I’m not even thinking about that really. I just hope none of the players are coaches take it seriously, because at this point, it just doesn’t mean that much.

Coaches don’t watch other games.
So they have no clue if a game was closer than it looked or worse than the score.
They should have **** canned the coaches poll years ago.
