4-star DT commit Collins goes in-depth on pledge at UA Miami

I do not see a problem with his comments. We lost to FIU/GT/Louisiana Tech and Stroud has not proved himself as a recruiter. Just wants us to prove its not all hype, which is usually the case.
Everyone have a down year ask yourself have you been a coach before have you been in this much pressure give the man a chances his first year it doesn't matter who they lost to remember Alabama have lost toLouisiana Tech after that Saban got it right so just think a little bit

As a Palmetto alumn, I cringe at these guys looking at Florida so much. On the other hand, can you really blame them? We lost 7 games, lost to FIU, and don’t have elite recruiters on this staff by any stretch of the imagination. Frustrating.

That offense last year was atrocious ad the defense while having some problems was out on the field from so man 3 and outs it tired out. Offense must get in in gear this year.

"At the Opening Miami Regional last February, Collins recorded a 4.97 shuttle time and a 32.80 inch vertical leap."
Notice how fewer and fewer guys run the 40 at these camps as they are they are scared of an off-time. I saw the list of results and about 30-40% did not run the 40. It may not be the key aspect for linemen but for DBs, RBs, WRs, etc. it is important.

You can’t blame the kid at all . Stroud needs to do the **** job he gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for , this **** is unacceptable .

Saban was taking over a culture that Mike Shula developed and was getting to know the roster. Saban had been a head coach and won a title at LSU. This was Manny's first year and he'd been around this team for four years at the time. Anytime a coach has a disastrous season, defaulting to Saban's first year at Bama is not the way to go. Because how many Sabans are in the college football world right now?

No question that winning a significant number of games (at least 10) will overall improve our recruiting profile.

But ask yourself this question, and be honest, do you think it’s going to make a difference here if we win 10 or 11 games next year? Because I’ll be honest, I’m getting that aroma like it’s not going to make any difference in this one specific situation.

This young man is borderline disrespectful. I understand his mom wants him at UM and I’m happy for that. But he talks as though he has accomplished something in life, which he has not. High school playing ability is next to accomplishing nothing in life.
I remember being on a plane shortly before graduating law school at Emory University and thinking that if the plane crashed a list of my accomplishments on a tombstone would read,”he was a pretty good student”.
and then I graduated and did everything possible to impact as many lives in a meaningful way. Everyone’s path is different but this kid hasn’t done **** and I hope someone tells him before he flames out.
but you went to Emory because it was very good school that good probably get you great internships and prepare you properly. No difference for him.

Coach recruits kid to the end hard AF and misses.
CIS: WTF whyyyy did we recruit him when everyone KNEW he wasn't coming here? Why cant the coaches tell and tell him to kick rocks and put our resources elsewhere....

Coach stops recruiting a kid who is playing games.
CIS: WTF whyyyy are we not recruiting our best local players. (Insert coach name) sucks as a recruiter, we need to hire (insert former high profile player of similar position) as a coach.

Wait 7 months....repeat.

I have reservations about any top flight recruit that watched what we watched last season and isn’t getting cold feet.

We all know winning is the best recruiter. We can’t be surprised then when losing pushes kids away.

Blah, blah, blah. I want more attention. Gotta wait to see how much the SEC bags weigh. But yet, some on CIS believe his every word. We dont talk a lot means he wants his @ss kissed more by Miami. Whatever man. D line has never been the weakest position at Miami so if kids want to disrespect the team and players currently in uniform. See ya.

Ah, got it... another one of those "our administration is incompetent" people who probably can't name a trustee, has never been on campus, thinks the University President has anything to do with football and doesn't donate.
This is just as bad of a stance. I know you like pointing to sitting on the board as a student. So to qualify my statements. I also was a student rep on the BoT while in law school. Friends with a few BoT families. Donate. Friends with people who work under Julio Frenk. Work in the general tax-exempt/university/health care world. It is fair to criticize Julio Frenk, it is fair to criticize Blake James, and it is fair to criticize Manny Diaz after all of their on-job performances in their respective areas of the university. Namely, for Frenk, the university's academic standing, for Blake James, the overall performance of the athletic department since he has taken over and his hiring processes, and last season for Manny. People are not inventing things to be upset about.
