4 more days for a Portal WR. Tell me the good news.

As Leeds said there’s a few guys in play but the one looking the most realistic will grab your attention when / if he hits. That’s all I’ll say. That’s the position I believe they’re focused on.
Ja'corey brooks, Christian leary, jaden Alexis? Only names I could see bring immediate attention. I'll know if this comment gets deleted.

If we can't land a speedster why not put Malik Curtis on offense where he belongs? He could be the quickest change of direction wr on the team ....like I said before he's not exactly a Travis Benjamin (4.36 40) clone ...imo somewhere between a Nathaniel Dell and Wan' Dale Robinson slot type...

Malik could immediately be the best yac wr at Miami....getting open, hands and yac are far more important than taking a top off imo ...

X is a good possession slot but we also need a guy great at making people miss in traffic....Smith is talented enough but something about his comfort, vision and balance is holding him back right now ...Mailik could be that "make something out of nothing" type we need...
Like where your head is at on this one. I thought Malik was a better option at WR than CB. Dude has instant speed.

I’d also argue that earning his paycheck would include evaluation of what he has vs what he needs to be successful and closing that gap in the best way he sees fit in the time he has to do so.
That’s the thing to me. He has a bunch of 4 stars who weren’t his evals and recruits and who haven’t really done a lot.

I was told no on Mikel. I think it’s 69.876834 percent the wr hits.
No Mikel?

Deion Smith from LSU has elite talent. Other than that I don't see a reason to get anyone else currently in the portal.

There's more than a handful of 4* receivers on the roster currently. Personally I'd rather see Gattis earn his paycheck and develop who he has in the room. Unless of course an all conference caliber kid comes available and interested in UM
I generally agree. I think the issue is adding someone with experience and proven production. Everyone keeps saying we need to get faster but we have speed at the position, and Rambo wasn't a speedster. He was older and understood how to get open for a QB who only needs a sliver of space.
Beyond someone like that I think we should be able to develop our current guys, especially when you consider how much attention our TE's and RB's will receive.
Our WR's will face a lot of single coverage. A 4 star receiver should be expected to get open against single coverage in the ACC.
