$4 Million Per Year

If they are talking 4M type money seriously, then Mario cant be a serious option, though I suspect he has more support from the BOT than anyone here wants to believe. Its obvious the dude has some broad support a lot of places. Say what you will about the guy, but he's a **** of a recruiter, and was good enough to be picked by Saban despite not being a particularly stellar position coach, or a coordinator. Mario obviously has SOMETHING that a lot of people see potential in. Lets just hope its not as HC here, at least not yet.

QP is a hipster f*ggot.

I'd say if we can pay Tom Herman $4 million a year, those ugly Adidas uniforms are worth it.

If you have 4 million to pay a coach, why the **** are you going to go after a first year MAC coach like Herman?

Stupid

I take it that you haven't watched much college football. Let me enlighten you then, Herman isn't currently a MAC coach, but does happen to be probably the best young candidate out there right now. He's a huge reason why Ohio Taint won the title last year, his scheme is proven to work, and fits our talent base perfectly. He's the type of guy that ends up at a powerhouse school and kills it.

Seriously sign Butch for 2.5-3M and let him sign whoever the **** he wants as assistants and guys he wants to groom to replace him.
I wouldn't mind having Cristobal as a coach, just not a HC or OC.

But straight up **** going for Fuente or Herman. If we have $4M to spend get ******* Hue Jackson....assuming Butch is not gunna happen.

if we can offer 4 mil, then we can go and get legit guys. Gary Patterson, Chris Petersen....these guys don't make 4 mil.

Gary Patterson makes more than 4 million a year.

This. You can't trust those published coach salary numbers for private schools. Patterson made $3.94 million 2 years ago. They did the same thing with Golden every time they published his salary (Golden may have actually been due about $3 million in compensation this season). They get salary numbers from Forms 990 filed with the IRS, but those forms are never up to date when the info is published. TCU's most recent 990 is for their fiscal year that ended 5/31/14. Patterson made $3.94 for that year.
