Holding out hope for freshman development on the back end of the season.

Scott was the only one to receive snaps iirc and he was pretty ineffective. They need a lot more time. Don’t expect any of them to be in the 2 deep outside of injuries. Moten and Campbell seemed to have stepped their games up. Would like to see Horton with some snaps

Secondary looked good. But we have virtually no depth there. We could sustain Bain leaving the game because we have DE depth for days. But if we lose a guy in the secondary, we're f'd.​

Curious who gets reps next week with Brown likely out and an inferior opponent.

That will tell me who is the depth for moving forward. I’m still learning the roster numbers but don’t recall hearing/seeing OJ much. That’s a good thing for CB.

I think the DT did their job. Mesidor is playing out of position.

Not sure we see many sacks from the DT spot but they just need to do their assignment and let the DE’s eat

Yes, the formation wasn’t the best either but mix that with breakdowns you get a 70 yard touchdown

and they chopblocked Kiko and it knocked him into cj clark.

Correction hill did play. Just seen he had 24 snaps. Don’t think stafford played. Don’t know if Patterson did

Especially in a hostile emotional environment you could excuse our guys for making mistakes

Number 1 and solely the Dt position has me worried Clark was underwhelming. Need moten and Scott to step up for bigger roles

this ... wasn't super impressed with clark, powell got busy ... i think we see more of campbell as the year progresses and hopefully we welcome back marley cook soon

respectfully, how much depth do you want ... we lost a starter in the first quarter and didn't miss a beat ... how many teams can lay claim to that? i'm not suggesting we're georgia but we're solid ... shout out to hill and oj

The Brown drop was so disappointing, it was a perfect play, maybe the pass could have been better, but the effort was not at its highest level.

I'm concerned about the lack of explosives in the run game. We were death by 1000 paper cuts just like last yr. 2 yds 2yds 3yds 4yds. No chunks...no one extending runs making ppl miss.

On Johnson big run, the alignment had me concerns, end was inside shade of the TE and the LB was stacked atop and safety was 10 yards off stacked too. Unless the had a wrong arm end with spill technique over the LB on that play, still didn't make tonnes of sense.
That and Harris taking the wrong lane.

Busts happen and they happen to call a great play on an improper alignment, puller etc.

I have to rewatch but I think somebody didn’t get the call so we were out of position from the jump

He is at DE. He is going to be used a lot inside to create mismatches and because Alston and baron has more speed than him off the edge. You are going to see situations with all 4 DEs on the field

Main two concerns I have coming out of yesterday’s game is special teams and secondary depth. The depth won’t change but the experience for the young guys will. Special teams just seemed off yesterday. Andy is one of the better kickers in the country so he should be fine. Our punter out kicked his coverage some and I believe the one kick return they had was a pretty solid return. I think it’ll be fine but really just cherry picking minor stuff.
