I don’t find that something to sweat about tbh. If TVD stinks to high **** or is injured ofc they’re not gonna not throw Emory in. 4 games is also a lot to play with.
 
I know arroyo is in bubble wrap and has been for a while. What’s his injury?

Also, what’s the deal with skinner - he didn’t play either, no?

I loved the fact that when asked about the Brown brothers, he noted Damari didn't turn his head. But he said it in a fatherly, constructive way, not trying to tear the kid down at all. Really good leader of young men.
 
it's so refreshing to have an OC and DC who are candid and call it like it is

we've either had clueless coordinators or a bunch of coach speak - heard more about the nuances and decision making from guidry and dawson than I've heard from any other coordinator in like a decade

It doesn't end the arguments as to why.

If you listen to the whole press conference, Dawson said they had vertical plays in the game plan, but Miami OH was playing coverage so they kept checking down. The interception was an instance where we got inpatient and tried to force it downfield.

That's very different than "We're saving the playbook for A&M".

he explained exactly why when he noted that TVD made all the right checks and he was happy about it. they were taking exactly what the defense gave them because that's all they needed to do.

it is crazy how different the vibe is between this year's and last year's coordinators. night and day feels like an understatement.
