You're concerned that TVD is going to play so badly that the only way Miami wins is to bench him for Jacurri Brown or a true freshman?

Do some of ya'll live in a parallel universe where TVD is Preston Dewey and we have two Caleb Williams on the bench? Did you see Brown play last year?
 
I'd prefer that TVD plays so well that you can't RS one of the backups. I'm not going to read too much into that comment about 4 games though.

The idea that TVD won't come out for a play at some point in the season through being up in a game or even getting knicked up on a play (where he needs a play or three odd) is so unlikely it isn't even funny.

I want one of them taking snaps and running the offense like normal at every available opportunity. If they choose to go vanilla and run out the clock, that would suit Brown. Still, take every opportunity to run it like normal, that's my preference.

This to me was the only quote that really mattered.

I would not be shocked to see a package for jacurri in (no more than4) key games even if everyone knows he won’t pass most likely Just for change up or to say go ahead and stop him even if you know what’s coming to get his athleticism on the field.

I think to me use of strategic was more than just a coach speak thing even if just to throw off the others and make them think of why he said that.

Emery could be true qb2 but get less actual games in then jacurri
