Committing elsewhere or decommitting is something i don't hold against kids. Kids can be overwhelmed, especially if they don't have a good support system.

How they go about doing it is something i do hold against them. That is all about character. Character plays a key role in how kids develop as players, teammates, and individual people.....and i'd be much more comfortable spending time and money on kids with higher character, as i expect those kids have a higher probability to meet their potential.
I don't think lacking a good support system fits this kid's situation. His support system was as taken aback at what he did as Miami's staff.

Wouldn't you like to be in their living room tonight???

Exactly! Seen a lot of takes of good bye and good riddance.

Remember some similar takes when Malachi decommitted. You have to have a very short memory in recruiting.
Can’t really compare this situation to Malachi’s as I don’t remember Toney ever trolling the U, I could be mistaken tho ..

in general, I agree. In this case, what happened is not comparable

I agree with you both that the circumstances behind the late decision change better parallel Stone than Toney as Malachi never committed to another school nor did he ever publicly disparage the U. Stone blindsided the family and the insiders and so did Jacobs.

What I was referring to the emotions that immediately pour out when a recruit picks another school and/or makes a terrible decision from our perspective. We aren't in the CFP Semis without Mali. Successful coaches have to detach emotions when it comes to recruiting.

Man, imagine that.
OSU fans complaining about the refs.
McAfee said on the pregame show that when he asked the head ref what kind of game they were going to call the guy told him “ people aren’t here to watch us throw flags”…
I mean there was plenty of chances to call flags both ways and they stayed true to form and kept their flags in their pockets. How bad must that hold of been for it to be called when they let 30 of them go that looked pretty bad.

Bruh the hold on lightfoot going after Sayin, I never seen a ref not call that

I saw Morten actually get tackled right in front of the ref and nothing…..the one that actually did get called it actually looked like Bain might have tripped…..🤣

I guess it was like Subway or a place where you get held so many times they give you a flag on the next one.Whatever that number before the free one was I know both Bain and Messidor both hit it cause they got held most every play especially every pass play.
