Kulikowski was kind of expected. I guess Renzo and Hudson saw the writing on the wall with the FIU transfer coming in. Good Luck to these young men.Renzo, Hudson, and Kulikowski are all in the portal per D1
I’ll never forget Renzo swinging at a 2-0 count with bases loaded and then proceeding to hit in to a inning ending double playRenzo, Hudson, and Kulikowski are all in the portal per D1
I was OK with our best hitter getting the green light...I’ll never forget Renzo swinging at a 2-0 count with bases loaded and then proceeding to hit in to a inning ending double play![]()

Indeed. Indeed.Kulikowski gets the start. Gets 2 hits (also draws a walk) after Peralta had some of the worst ABs of all time.
Next game. Gaby starts. Matches or maybe surpasses Peralta’s worst ABs of all time.
Yeah, I’d be in the portal too.
That move there left me saying "see, this is why folks think JD doesn't know what he's doing"..... You go with the hot hands, not bring in some random that has barely played all season. Kuli was a hot hand..Kulikowski gets the start. Gets 2 hits (also draws a walk) after Peralta had some of the worst ABs of all time.

And this was AFTER the previous two guys had reached base by walk. That almost made me break the TV.I’ll never forget Renzo swinging at a 2-0 count with bases loaded and then proceeding to hit in to a inning ending double play![]()

Baseball IQ and talent was not a strong point for the last two teams and it showed up constantly through out the year.Just can’t happen there in that situation. Cost us the game, we bailed them out, all the pressure was on the pitcher
Needs to be a massive emphasis in the off seasonBaseball IQ and talent was not a strong point for the last two teams and it showed up constantly through out the year.

Year 3 is a cross roads for this program
Off to a good start. Happy for Kul, he will play every day somewhere mid-major or even just somewhere outside the SEC/ACC and probably hit .280 with 6-8 HRs, Maybe grow into a .300 hitter in his final year.Renzo, Hudson, and Kulikowski are all in the portal per D1
Should have been given the take sign. period. And this was AFTER the previous two guys had reached base by walk. That almost made me break the TV.
Need to evaluate the baseball IQ top to bottom…
That's all you respect him for? How about his lifetime devotion to the program as a player, coach and now manager? Plus the way he carries himself and how he handled himself when his 17 year old son tragically died. The one thing I respect about Mario is he’s not scared to make changes to his staff

You're right. I misread your postI clearly was talking about Mario Cristobal and how he’s not afraid to make changes to his coaching staff, which is the demise of many coaches in sports, namely Al Golden.
