guys let me just say yes I am a lawyer - not a contract specialist - and this might be ignorant of me to say as a lawyer but like I said last year with Wisconsin considering all the facts and issues that nobody really fully grasps or knows the legality of I do not think these agreements are anything to worry about and probably would not be able to keep a player from transferring. just my opinion but it remains until proven otherwise.

What Thamel's follow up tweet means, is that Mensah signed a 2 year NIL contract with Duke (which it was reported last year he did). I have no idea how this works or would work legally.
