Ah, I misinterpreted what you were saying. I completely agree that it seems to be the case, which is honestly wild to me. We really need a portal QB this season, because I haven't heard or seen anything suggesting that any QB on roster is even remotely close to being ready. Emory obviously isn't starter-caliber for us

Honestly mind boggling. Mario likes to play the Lotto with QBs. His numbers hit twice so that’s a proven formula right? It would have been so easy to just bank that shot, smh.

People don’t realize how close we were to having Poffenbarger/Emory as our QB in 24 and the fact Hannah Cavinder was our best recruiter last cycle.

I’ve been a Mario fan when it was unfashionable. Ironic I’m bashing him in the eve of the national championship. But this portal cycle has us going in the wrong direction so far.

Club closes at 5am and yall taking the 6 home at 8pm because youre so desperate and scared of having to crank the hog again.

Stating the obvious:

Currently, the only viable options in the portal are Husan Longstreet and Ethan Grunkemeyer, although Grunkemeyer is widely expected to enroll at VTech. Mario seems interested in neither. I guess Lagway is another viable option, but I threw up typing that.

The portal closes on Friday. We’ll know in the next 48 hours whether anyone else of interest enters.

Not much to discuss until and unless another QB enters the portal.

Grunkenmeyer commited to vt I believe last night. They haven’t announced anything because he hasn’t signed yet

In all seriousness though, we’ve seen how he plays and there’s just no threat of a passing game other than screens. You can get away with that for a game or 2 but a whole season? No way.
