2026 Portal QBs

if we get Wilson, Seaton ( or bell comes back) and get another weapon + another LB

then nickel / Coleman win 9-10 games... 16 game season measns that's playoff

not ideal, but not as doom and gloom as some are saying

need to solidify everything else to be elite if we dont have an elite qb tho

There is an arrogance that Miami will get who they want and that’s not true.

I’ve been saying for a while now, since November if not earlier to get Bailey right away.

Here we are!

Many say he sucks and we are now left with Emory and current QB room.

Their process sucks even if the end result is a desirable one.

Fair take. @gacaneaddict too, because you guys were clear you were in favor of taking Bailey without swinging for the fences this year.

I guess where I'm at is I don't think this year's portal QB search was any different from the past 2 years. We got Cam and Beck then. This year we got bupkiss. I can't be mad at Coach for not prematurely quitting a high risk strategy that had worked out perfectly for him 2 years running.

The bottom line is Big10 and SEC still rule supreme for getting top portals and recruits. These are simply the conferences that guys want to play in. Dawson has a great track record of developing QB's. QB's should be lining up. Nope, they are headed to Big10 and SEC.

You cant be talking about rebuild. U trying to build the QB and the next season,the other players transfer. We can go on another run next season. The ACC opps are in ****, its time to press it home. I don't think u
Need to recruit high school QBs and oay a fortune but at this point, Emory is a rising Senior and Judd a rising Junior, plus Nickel. Someone we recruit should be good enough to take over before relying on Coleman.

Im not panicking until i see exactly the strategy. If it is to go take man off someone else roster, so be it. You dont rest while u up.
