I was skeptical of him after watching him play us but looking at it, they should have been on him at the game in Hard Rock. It was the easiest transistion.

I agree. He was definitely pretty far down on my list two weeks ago. But it’s last call. And that 4 is looking like a great way to end my dry spell.

You do realize they have a Recruiting staff that handles all this stuff that have no part in the game prep, right?

I do think the majority of this is falling to the support staff. I’d be shocked if Mario is working the phones.

We've tried our luck with three different guys. I do not believe that he likes Emory.

C.J. Bailey is going to get drafted high next year, higher than some of these top portal QB's making big money, AND he was a natural fit unlike Leavitt or Sorsby.

Also D.J. Lagway has talent, and can be a good player here with the roster makeup, and our offense. He can throw the deep ball, and it would keep defenses from stacking the run game.


He needs to be able to throw screens and shot plays.

Yes. As you can see by FSU’s elite portal activity, he is clearly the missing link in the equation.

Lagway does not have it in between the ears. He can't diagnose a defense, process quickly, make necessary adjustments at the line, etc. That's why he's thrown almost as many INTs as TDs.

We need to bring a qb willing to compete from a lower level in immediately. Try to still work for a starter obviously, but no excuse not to at minimum bring a guy in willing to compete and potentially win starting job next yr… there are experienced guys who played well in lower levels that we can absolutely pay to sit or compete a yr. The money is there
