The truth is neither of our last 2 cycles went smoothly and on both we kinda got lucky. I think as a playoff contender in Miami with $ to spend we’ll figure something out and someone will jump on board. I don’t think it’s accurate to assume that Beck and Ward signing last minute was how we planned it all along tho and we could’ve missed out and if we keep playing with fire one day we likely will strike out.

Curious if it’s a $ thing or what but we don’t seem to be getting a lot of serious consideration right now

I agree. Things were far from smooth the last two years and there was a lot of luck involved.
