2026 Portal QBs

NIL has changed everything for QBs like Champliss and Castellanos. Like the old adage about Saban's Alabama teams, they would take a pay cut to go pro.

A distraction for you maybe. But the last two years should prove that his process works in every phase of his operation (maybe not two minute drill quite yet).
Remove the F5 button from your keyboard and be confident in Mario's process

If you believe Mario is Houdini reincarnated I respect that. I do not. I believe his luck is going to run out pulling rabbits out of his hat. Maybe Mario has one more rabbit in the hat.

But this is a top class organization that should not have to rely on rabbits out of hats year over year.

yea of course we should be able to prepare for a game and acquire talent. we recruit year round while doing the same thing. Mario shelved portal participation until after the Fiesta Bowl,This was a mistake. Tons of talent is off the board already, and by Friday,…a lot more.

Considering what Line of scrimmage play has proven this year, playing with 2 first round talents, i expected we would bring in a HIGH level Edge and QB right away

I think the speculation about him and Tenn has more to do with him being from there rather than it being an optimal destination. Tenn is trying to keep Aguilar and from what I’ve been reading it sounds like they’re confident he’s getting the waiver.

As others have pointed out, the Briles Veer and Shoot they run doesn’t exactly help a QB’s prospects in the eyes of the league.

At this point, the way things are playing out - we have to consider Ty Simpson a win.

But, we need to add a high level WR, DE, LB, and DT. This season shows DLINE can win you titles, with mid level game managers at QB.
