I heard from a reliable source that we are 100% getting our QB today, unless we don't. The QB in question is supposed to be jumping in the portal by Noon, or possibly 7PM or at the very least by Midnight, unless they change their mind and don't enter at all. If the QB in question does not enter, we may change our focus to a bag of one dozen glazed donuts. Either way we will have our answer today, unless, of course, we don't, in which case it could drag out until the 21st.

When it shouldn't. We should be celebrating what we've accomplished and giving Mario his due. But this whole transfer portal process this year leaves a very bad taste.

Judging by the fact you've been here since 2013, I'm going to assume you got to witness the early 2000s Canes in their glory. A lot of us, this is our first time. Can we just have a little bit of perspective? I get the QB situation has played out horribly but let's not lose sight of where we are at and what we've been. Even if they completely botch this search, the Canes will still be good next year. The money is definitely not drying up anytime soon either. This is not a flash in the pan this ***** built to last. Everyone needs to relax.

Emory and Judd committed before their senior years. Here are their junior stats:

Emory - 63% completion, 2168 passing yards, 16 TD-3 INT, 64 rushing yards, 4 TD (5-5 record)
Judd - 56% completion, 1776 passing yards, 15 TD-13 INT, 60 rushing yards, 2 TD (6-5 record)

If Miami is going to take kids with this level of production, they better have the best tape of all time and just be surrounded by a low level of talent (not common)

Compare that to Nickel and Coleman:

Nickel - 66% completion, 3914 passing yards, 39 TD-5 INT, 181 rushing yards, 6 TD (Won State Championship)
Coleman - 73% completion, 3412 passing yards, 28 TD-4 INT, 455 rushing yards, 4 TD (Lost State Championship)

It's getting better as we get better, but man I just don't see how EW and JA qualified even in our down years.
 
What sucks is that after all this Mario and Sawson have to go into their QB room and lie to those guys and say “ we have full confidence in you” smh

Ive actually been a homer a long time. Am a Mario supporter. Only place I normally complain is GameDay threads where we run trick **** reverses.

Just calling our process this year a spade. They still got time to reel me back in
