Bailey is not “extremely raw”, I reject that assertion. Bailey is a “finished product” on the college level of football. Bailey looks different against top competition because his team is littered with 2 and 3 star recruits and has a low blue chip %. This is all about who receives the benefit of doubt. Bailey without a shadow of doubt has earned prioritization and a shot at being considered a top tier college QB. Lesser Timmy’s receive that shot and jolt of confidence every single day and it ain’t considered to be an “emotional decision”.

Because he's at NC State and we got ****ed wit Judd. No other reason, hermano. I don't ***** too often, but this process of finding QBs is unnecessary stress. I just don't understand, for the life of me, why this has become tradition for us.

The narrative has been that we will be able to hand pick studs when we are back. W

he could be working on it...I mean I suspect they are back channelling with agents and one guy might just come in to the portal at the last minute (or not.....)

Thread 'Judd Anderson over CJ Bailey?'

I understand that these posts are annoying, but I do love to live in the past.

Can someone smarter than me please explain why Miami didn't pursue CJ Bailey until late in the process? I get that the throwing motion was weird and he didn't fit the traditional mold. But he threw for 9,000 yards at one of the best high school programs in the country and now is lighting it up for a bad NC State team.

I've got no idea what Judd Anderson may or may not become down the road, but he certainly was a bit of a "project". Just feels odd that Miami didn't try to keep the best quarterback in South...

2024 Thread 'Cedrick "CJ" Bailey 3* QB from Chaminade'

Lots of discussion on CJ on various threads but no dedicated thread. Given his WRs are Jeremiah & JoJo and his potential impact on their decisions, definitely deserves his own thread. No Miami offer as of now.

I get the frustration but the facts are also that we got the #1 pick in the draft and a guy that got us to the national title. So its not looking good this year, lets see where it ends. The results are the results the last two years. They got who they wanted and its worked out insanely well.

What's worse, is you're back with the returning freshman of the year, a top 10 RB group, a stout OL and you still can't get a QB. Even after helping one go 1st overall and the next taking you to a NC game.

The bias around Mario and qbs is undefeated. Kids would rather sit at Oregon, OSU, LSU.
