Cool story and so true. I have a few of those Fraser stories myself. Him and Schnelly were cut from the same cloth on using the "stick" as much as the carrot to motivate - it can work when used properly.

Played alot of softball with Bobby Thigpins brother in the 90's. Bobby actually played with us a couple times after he retired. Big dude, nice guy. I had to rub it in a little. Good times!
 
I feel like I'm watching college football from 4-5 years ago, where the SEC is on another planet compared to our team. Deeper lineups, deeper pitching staffs. It's like every guy out of their bullpen throws 95 and we are popping champagne if a guy hits 95 on our team. We just have to wait until someone wakes up or some big money alum has had enough and forks over money to get rid of J.D. and bring in a legit guy.
