6’6 265lbs 5-star DL from Lilburn/Alpharetta GA, goes to Los Alamitos school (CA)
Had a good Sophomore season finishing with 51tcks 13TFL’s & 3 sacks.
Kid has a massive physical frame & moves like a LB. Powerful initial first step burst, with very good hand placement & disengagement techniques. Does a great job with stack & shed & is a power rusher that wins 95% of his leverage battles against OL’s, he’s simply too strong for most HS OL’s to block him straight up. Is a good run defender in pursuit of the ball carrier, plays with good motor & has the capabilities to take on double teams & chip blocks.
Versatile lineman, plays as a 5-Tech in the 3-4, but can also be an Inside-4Tech or play as a SDE 7Tech in a 4-3 DE. Projects mostly as a 3-4 DE, but could easily be a DT in 4-3 as well.
Is originally from Lilburn GA, but transferred from PCA to Johns Creek for his Sophomore season. But the move that sent shock waves through the recruiting world was when he moved/transferred all the way to Los Alamitos (Southern Cali, Orange County) to the same school as 2023 5-star QB Malachi Nelson & 2023 4-star ATH (WR) Makai Lemon, both of whom are current USC commits.
Which has lead to speculation that he is receiving a big NIL deal to attend USC as well, although it’s not necessarily completely wrapped up as of now. He’s visited GTech, UF, UCLA, Oklahoma, UGA, Michigan & Tenn during the Spring & recently as of the Summer visited USC & TAMU. Oklahoma was seen as the early favorites in the beginning of his recruitment but as of now it appears that USC, TAMU, Oh ST & others have taken priority.
But with all that said, Miami made his top 13! Lol
