2022 2022 CB Jaden Harris receives offer (Commit)

Kid runs a legit 4.38 40, and he obliterates angles. He’s very athletic and has the hips to be able to break down and run with his man in coverage all day. Also has good ball skills. We got a steal, in my opinion.
Is that opinion or is it confirm from a camp? Would be nice, we've needed to get more athletic on the backend for awhile.

How does he compare to Graves?

Graves has a smaller frame, but is probably more polished. Looks like he would excel in covering smaller and medium sized receivers.

Jaden Harris is a grown man. Seems to be heady & twitchy. Has the physical ability to cover big/little receiver types.

When it comes to tackling, I have no clue tbh.

@tsimonitis

Edit: Actually, Jaden looks a little raw at CB, but you see the high-end ability:

Shoot, Graves and Rogers off a torn ACL alone may be enough to make that true.
lol true but only 5 years @Liberty City El ???

I might be missing some but I would say best CB class since 2013:

2021 - Malik Curtis (Stevenson as transfer)
2020 - Dunson, Clarke
2019- Christian Williams, Couch
2018- Blades, Gil, Ivey, Bethel
2017- Bandy, Dean,
2016- Malek Young
2015- Jackson, Redwine, Terrence Henley
2014- Ryan Mayes,
2013- Burns, Elder,
2012- Howard, Gunter, Nate Dortch, Larry Hope, Vernon Davis

On paper, def better. Let's see how they turn out.

The best CB class we’ve signed in 5 years
Only 5? I can't remember the last time we signed more than 2 guys that were true corners in 1 class other than Blades, Ivey, and Bethel in 2018 and it won't be hard to top that class. Outside of that one the next best would have to be the Javonte Dean and Bandy class. Then, all the way back to 2013 Elder and Burns or 2012 Antonio Crawford, Gunter, and Tracy Howard.

I'm not as high on Rogers as most people but I think we've got 3 solid guys. Much needed influx of quality players and quantity. I think Graves has potential to be a relatively high draft pick.

Need vs nice to have. I think Mario is eyeing 2 or 3 slots total for WR and wants to pick and choose. Landon didn't make the cut. I wanted him but I trust his evaluations obviously.

There are 43 4-star WR in the 2023 class already, with 6 of the top 14 being from FL, including 3 of the top 10 from SFL.

The 2023 WR class >>> 2022 WR class, we are making sure we keep room for them.
